Wildwood Golf Course, previously named Peck's Wildwood Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Minocqua, Wisconsin.
The course, designed by Jim Peck, opened for play in 1983.
The course borders a zoo, so be prepared to see llamas, bears and many other types of exotic animals as you play here. The signature hole is #5, a 630-yard, par 5, featuring a scenic pond about halfway down the fairway. The fairways are narrow, and there are water hazards coming into play on ten holes.
The course closed with the end of the 2012 golf season.

The name is now simply Wildwood golf course. 2 holes run next to the zoo next door. The course is a maximum of 5400 yards from the back tees making it playable for seniors or beginners. The quirky layout is basically flat without any memorable holes, but it is in very good shape. Lots of mature trees typical of northern Wisconsin. Many of the players were vacationing in the area known mainly for its lakes and fishing. Despite a modest clubhouse the friendly staff make this a place I would go back to when i'm in the area.

Unfortunately, The course is now closed. Weeds have taken over the course. Sadly, Wildwood is no more.
